Mystery roll of 1600 tri-x from late 80's

any thoughts on care and handling of it?

last one I did was a disaster, best image from the roll looked like this...

I believe this new mystery roll is from the same fire, with good images on it.

Has it been in the fridge?

I'm not a Tri-X user, but as I understand, most emulsions rated that high are actually 800-1200 ISO with push processing built in to give it more speed.

I'd figure out what the manufacturer's recommendations are and then add at least 50% developing time. But that's me, and I've never had to resurrect film that old.

What did you do for the first roll?
