Name some good 75mm - 90mm lenses for an M body

What are your favorite lenses from any manufacturer in the 75-90mm range for use with an M body? Bayonet or screw mount.
 
M-Hex 90/2.8, Nikkor 85/2 LTM.
I also very much like the look of the pictures taken with the 75/1.8 Voigt Heliar but no personal experience on that.
 
I have only one 75, the CV 75/1.8 Heliar, and it's a good lens, and I like the results, but it's large. Somehow, I've ended up with 3 90's, a 1951 9cm/4 Elmar in LTM, a 1973 90/2.8 Tele-Elmarit M "Fat" and a c. 1970 90/2 Summicron that I got for a good price because it's cosmetically pretty ugly (but the glass, aperture and focusing are fine). I prefer the 90/2.8 for general use, got the 90/4 for use with the visoflex and bellows, then found the 90/2 at a good price, which I can also use on the visoflex and bellows, making the old Elmar just something to play with when I want an old lens look. The Summicron is hard to focus but very nice and anything that is in focus is good and sharp when wide open, but it is also very large.
 
I feel fortunate that I had the good luck to acquire both a 90 Summicron (type 3 E49) and 75 Summilux back before the prices went thru the roof. They are what I own and so my faves.
 
I use the VC Lanthar 90 on an M3 and I must say it's been a very pleasant surprise. Surely the best bang for buck 90 out there ;-) Nice bokeh / rendering and pretty sharp wide open (which admittedly ain't that wide). Nice build and ergonomics too.
 
"Big bertha" the pre-asph 2/90 is much cheaper used than the asph. version and it's a beautiful lens. Of course the 2/75 asph. is one of the best M-lenses overall. There is thread featuring pics and these are speaking a lot. I was lucky to get a used one maybe 1/2 a year after the introduction, someone obviously didn't like the focal length.
 
There are lots of good ones. Between us my wife and I own a 75 Summicron ASPH (stunning) and a 90 Summicron pre-ASPH (very good indeed, but not as good as the ASPH), as well as a 90/3.5 Apo-Lanthar (excellent) and a Thambar (unique and very specialized).

As well as these I've tried (and sometimes owned) others, including the 73 Hektor (nice but no 'magic' for me); 75 Summilux (can't see the appeal); 75/2.5 Voigtländer (only in Nikon mount, but it was excellent, and I uderstand that it's the same lens); 75 Summarit (very good indeed); 85/2 Jupiters (for which I have a soft spot -- great portrait lenses); 90 Summarit (excellent, but I already had plenty of 90s); 90 Elmars, including macro (fine but a bit slow); and the big old 90 Summicron (huge, heavy and soft, and not really an improvement over the Jupiters in my book).

I have the 90 cron pre-asph E55. It's my first 90mm and I bought it because it was sold at a really attractive price and it was like new. So I said to myself, "Why not?!"

I shoot it with a M4 (0.72 VF). No problem nailing the focus at all. But I am tempted to get a M3 to shoot with this lens because of its larger 90mm frame lines.
 
I use the Tele-Elmarit-M 90/2.8, which is barely bigger than my 50 'cron (v3). Size was the most important deciding factor for me, though. When I travel with the 90, I want it to not be too big or heavy.
 
Seconding the recommendation of the CV 90 APO-Lanthar. Only f3.5 so not a light star, but *sharp* and light and inexpensive.
 
I've only used the 90/2.8 Elmarit-M and the 90/2 APO but I can say that both are stunning. I ended up going with the 2.8 which seems like the best value based on price and weight. I shoot it with a 50/2 which works well together.
 
I like the Leica Summilux 75mm/1.4 a lot. My other favorite for such a focal length is the Nikkor 105/2,5 Sonnar.
These are followed by the 90/2.0 Summicron and the 90/2.8 Elmarit and the 80/2 Nikkor.
