I am. In Miami. We've had some ups and downs. Last night was definitely an "up". Cry-gate is officially over.

FWIW, if you haven't been watching, now is a good time to start. The NBA hasn't been this exciting in YEARS.
Oh, and in case you're wondering about all those empty seats in the photo, well, it's a Miami thing. The REAL fans sit in the upper deck. We go to see the game. We stay to the very end no matter what. But most people in the lower level go to the game to be seen, and they have no problem leaving early to get home 30 seconds before the guy sitting next to them.

You'll have to get past the Lakers first.

Agreed, it's been a very interesting year so far. Not sure Miami has what it takes this year. They've got some very tough competition in the East.

They said "We don't know about that other team, but we are about to face the only team we are actually care about...another Texas team, Dallas."Perhaps Tony Parker or Tim Duncan can explain it to you.![]()
Edit: Oh, you must mean the LA Kobe! Yea. That team is alright. But when Kobe is gone, so is the team.

I doubt Miami can beat either Chicago or Boston in a seven game series.
Agreed.
I'm hoping for ABLA. Anyone But LA.

While I have not been following as closely this year as I had wanted to, I'm hoping this year goes to my former hometown of Boston. I was in LA for games 6 and 7 last year, and was at the LA Convention Center (which is quite literally right across the street from the Staples Center) the night of the game 7 Celtics loss. I have never felt more like a stranger in a strange land than that night. It's been nice to see LA struggle this year. Kobe is probably the best player of his generation, but the guy's attitude seems so crappy, I can't stand seeing him win.

The 2-time champs are gonna take it again this year barring injuries. There's just no one that can beat them in a 7 game series if Bynum continues to play the way he has lately.
The sleepers this season are Oklahoma & Chicago...look out for those two. Boston has to rely on the 2 broken O'Neil's. Trading away Perkins may come back to haunt them.

I'm not sold on the Lakers this year. Totally agree about Oklahoma though. No question that when the trade deadline arrived, Oklahoma came out the biggest winner. Turns out Denver made out pretty well too, they've been playing great. Even though they fell to the Heat tonight, they really brought a good game.
Last night the Heat/Hawks game in Atlanta turned into one big LeBron-a-thon. In the third quarter, he singlehandedly outscored the entire Hawks team. It didn't hurt that he had his 3-goggles on. Games like that are fun to watch when you're not on the receiving end of his barrage.

I feel bad for them. They are truly a mess right now.

Not very impressive over the past few days. Hell, even Doc Rivers is not impressed.

Yesterday's game against Miami was painful in the second half. The first half was pretty chippy. Technicals galore.

I was at that game. I'm a big Heat fan, but it was still a little painful to watch a team like the Celtics just fall apart like that. What's wrong with Rondo? It's like he didn't exist yesterday.
