I need a shoulder bag for RF and Business things, like a thin netbook but also has the right ergos and padding for an M7 with lens, film, etc. Any suggestions?

I have a Naneu Pro "Lima", which is their smallest messanger bag and I love it. Fits my M4-P and Rollei or my Hasselblad plus 60mm lens and two backs. Anyway, the next size up in messenger bags has a laptop compartment in addition to the camera inserts.

I need a shoulder bag for RF and Business things...

I had exactly the same need that was 100% fulfilled by Billingham Hadley Large. It's not too large, fits 13" laptop (possibly 15"), camera, lenses, etc, etc. (I carry laptop, charger, a couple of books, notebook, camera, 1/2 lenses, film - all in the main compartment. Bunch of assorted stuff in front pockets.) I'm very happy with it. The only thing I'm missing is a handle, but oh well.
A little pricey, but hey, are we businessmen or photographers?! :)

I'm interested in suggestions for a bag that's just slightly larger than the Domke 803 (since my netbook is the HP Mini 311 which is a wee bit larger). Anybody have any good suggestions?

Hi Randy

Hi Randy

Maybe the 802?

I have an 803 (J which is slightly larger than an F), and it's a tight fit with a 14" notebook in the side sleeve, with camera gear in the main section and pockets.

It's so tight, I've never really used that setup, just put all the camera stuff in the 5FXB, then stuffed the 5FXB into a notebook backpack.

Let me know if you want a like new J803 (black).

I'm interested in suggestions for a bag that's just slightly larger than the Domke 803 (since my netbook is the HP Mini 311 which is a wee bit larger). Anybody have any good suggestions?

The F-802 or Safrotto equivalent is the next size up. I have the Safrotto and it's an excellent bag. A bit on the deep side for working out of but will take a hefty laptop.

I´m thinking of getting a Tenba Small Messenger. Not as good looking as my dedicated Photo Crumpler bags, but look very practical, and not too big.

My Toshiba Satellite fits in the Hadley (in the back) with one or two cameras inside.

The Hadley without the laptop conforms nicely to the hip and is actually (dare I say it?) better than one of my Domke bags.

Why I like the Tenba, is because it is both a laptop and camera bag proper, you need not make adjustments for one or the other. It has a laptop pocket and a camera insert which can be removed. Have put it on the X-mas wish list. I would however have prefered if Crumpler had a corresponding bag.

Anyone have a Domke F-808? I have a big work laptop, Thinkpad T60... and would like to schlep it, random papers, etc... and possibly my m6 or e-p1.
