I purchased today a nonoperative Contax I .
the lens is a peculiar 50\2 sonnar that I do not find information on this specific version.
Here are photos of the lens on my M6 via an Amedeo adapter.
I would appreciate comments and information .

I can identify that lens for you-it's called 'Bob'.

That is the second model of the 5cm 2 Sonnar for the Contax I. The first model had a 37mm od for slip-on lens hoods and filters. This one takes 42mm slip-on hoods and filters.
