Need help with fed 1 shutter curtain

I know it's been discussed here before but I've encountered an issue that I haven't seen yet. I tried to adjust the shutter curtain speed but after getting the second curtain to speed up, it's still won't close all the way and also the ribbon sticks out after the curtain travels. I don't know how to stop that from happening. I've tried tightening the shutter some more but it keeps happening. Any suggestions?

It's hard to tell without photo's. But it sounds like either one of the ribbons came loose, or the curtains have been placed in a wrong plane after reassembly.

I eventually got that fixed but now my slow shutter speeds are a problem. The second curtain stops half way. I guess I have to clean the shutter area but I don't know how. Im assuming I have to take the whole thing apart but I don't have the skills or knowledge for that.
