I received my new biogon 28 from Tony today. It is very small. It looks very well built and feels solid. Not as solid feeling as the Leica lens but solid enough to save the $$'s. The finish is awesome and compliments my chrome M's very well. Focus is smooth as butter and a joy to work with. Attached are some sample shots I did today. Nothing fancey but just to give you a general idea of its capabilities.

I guess it would be more instructive for us film shooters for you to give us an idea of corner to corner sharpness on full frame 35mm vs cropped digital (of course the lens' true coverage won't be shown).

I am very happy with the edgre to edge sharpness. If you want to see a full size image no cropping here is a link to the pig picture. It is 8 megs.

Jorge, the red neon lettering has a sawtooth pattern on my monitor at home and at work. Is this in your original?
I have held off on the Biogon because the MTF data indicates a falloff in performance at the edges of the frame that is more dramatic than on the other ZM lenses. Are you planning to use this lens on film? It would be an interesting comparison.

Without a loop and serious review I don't feel the falloff is as dramatic as it may seem

The M8 has a 1,3 crop factor sensor. So, any edge problem, - I hardly think there is one with a Zeiss 28 mm, is cut away. And even though M8 uses only the best part of the optics it still hasn't a sensor good enough to compromise any fairly good M-lense.
