It's been a long while for me.... Kid in college and new job have really eaten up quite a bit of time. Recently bought some film and loaded the Canon7. While out, I stopped at an antique mall and wouldn't you know, I end up with 2 Leica lenses, 1 Canon lens, 1 Leica finder, 1 Canon finder, 3 Leica hoods, 2 Leica M body adapters, 2 Leica body caps and 3 Leica filters for a whopping 187 bucks!

Amazing -- the Summarit XOONS hood is often listed for more than $187 on eBay. I think I got $125 for mine, and I ran a regular auction for that one (not a B.I.N.).

...very nice. Perhaps you should take the camera out more? ;)

I've never seen a LTM lens at an antique store or thrift store for any price. Then again, in the 10 minutes I'm at the local places, I usually see at least 2 other people checking out cameras.

The funny part is that I bought the items over time. The 1st item I bought was the Canon lens...since I had the Canon7. I paid $17. Two subsequent trips later and I bought the items pictured. Not pictured is a stack of still boxed NOS lens filters and Pentax adapters. I never find this stuff when looking for it......I was just out looking and stumbled across it.

I was surprised that when I returned, all the stuff was still there.

I would have given you 50 bucks for the two filters yesterday .... the adapters are worth US 50 each. Etc.

Great find. You'll enjoy that Canon 50 - a really good lens.

I had no clue of the value of the items when I 1st viewed them. As you can tell, I didn't know until this posting what the ABLON was for. The majority of the items came in a box with the viewfinder for the 9cm Elmar. I was just interested in the finder. The seller said he didn't have time to research the items in the box. Once I had time to read up on the items, I was surprised.

There's a "red scale" Elmar 50/3.5 lens there. With clean glass, that's the most valuable item in the haul.

There's a special fun in buying stuff from an antiques dealer for far less than it's worth.

I'll give you $100 for it. Nice $15 profit. ;)

Edit: Kidding aside, congrats on the score. Between the FSU camera and the 7, I imagine you'll be able to most of it to great use.
