the thing i think when i see camera like that is, why cant they make a digital like that? (with electric shutter though)

They just meter to what the shutter can handle which is only 1 second (then B).
I like the flexibility of interchangeable finders and screens, so I'm sticking with Nikon bodies.

These camera bodies are needed. The reason is that so many (if not most) classic SLR's need repair work to get them into reasonably good shape to be day-in day-out shooters. For instance the light seals usually need replacing and the meters typically need to be recalibrated for alkaline batteries. Doing all of this as well as a general CLA as well is expensive, and unless one wants a nice collectible, a new modern camera body is a useful alternative.
In response to another post above, Kenko is a respected Japanese optical firm.
I personally welcome these interesting cameras to the hobby/profession.

It looks like a cross between a Kiev and a Pentax. Now what in the world convinced them that we need a film camera like this? My old Nikon 8008s was twice the camera (and twice the top shutter speed) of these, and I was lucky to sell it for 27 bucks last week on eBay. So I wonder if there is a market for these things.

Todays tech. makes possible things that weren´t in the past, so why keep repeating the same thing over and over again?
If they could rethink the reflex body to use an M mount on them, that would be a revolution, that leica couldn´t do at its time, because their technology wasn´t so developed as cosina,s todays tech. That would be a new product that everybody would want!
