Friends, have a look at this Cosina page. Appears to be ZM C-Sonnar remade in Contax mount. Of course it could be Nikon mount as well, but not sure if it makes any sense given Zeiss own RF history. Anyone here who can read Japanese?

It sure looks cool though..

Mazurka, is it a prototype or can it be bought?

It was a limited production in early 2006 of about 200 lenses. The mounts are Nikon S mount and LTM. Probably would be very hard to find one of these lenses now.

Hi Mazurka, he's talking about the Millenium lens.

Oh, that's something you can DIY at reasonable cost. :p

The Millennium version is just the Olympic version with modern coatings. The Olympic was basically an F lens with an RF cam. http://www.nikonhs.org/editorials/editorial_webmaster_may_02.html

So you can easily get one like this (courtesy Roland Vink) and add a Nikon-Leica adapter. If you want to splurge, you could also get an adapter that couples to the RF: :D

Now have they made this lens in LTM?

It would be great to have a modern made CZ Sonnar T in LTM, would make a great shooting lens, but no doubt would be crazy money $1,200+ I`m sure :(

I just used my newly acquired Zeiss Jena Sonnar 5cm/2 on a Contax IIIa. What a pleasure it was!
