Just look at the amount of feedbacks. There have a lot, over 13K at 99.7% satisfaction. If youre interested, you should jump on that before its too late. 23 sold in the last hour. Looks like the news has already hit the rumor sites.
Its pretty hard to get successfully scammed as a buyer on ebay these days. They might try to take your money, but since ebay started their "customers are always right" policy, its usually the seller that gets screwed. With ebay's buyer protection they pretty much give you your money back no matter what the circumstance.

$2000 is a great price but at huge risk if you are in USA. Nikon USA will not repair a grey market body EVER and from what I understand they have a stranglehold on authorized repair centers through their new parts supplying policy. So if you buy one of these and you live in USA, you cannot get it repaired. Or am I wrong?
