Connecticut New England RFF Summer Meet?

Ray, the town is more or less open. Other than a guided tour, I don't know if there is anything else that can be seen. We have to check the day's schedule, but the craftsmen's shops have only been open in the morning when I have been there, they have shut down around noon. That said, I would suggest we plan on being there in the morning. There may be less of a crowd too.

We can also just go each as individuals and pick a time to meet on the town green. That way if someone is not a morning person they will not feel pressured to get our of bed. We will share phone numbers too so we can be in touch if someone gets lost.

Since you know the area, rover, maybe you can designate a time and place?

Easy enough.

I will send PMs to get email addresses from Joerg and Peter, we can plan off line.

Anyone else interested just let us know,

August 5 at Old Sturbridge Village in Sturbridge, MA.

Wish I could make it. There's a restaurant not far from Sturbridge Village called Rom's, as I recall -- BIG portions -- where you all can repair to afterwards.

WWell I am up for a new experience:angel:
Seemed to have worked well for you in the last years.....:D
Thanks for the offer, i gladly accept.

Ciao

Joerg

No problemo Joerg provided you're willing to drive on the left side of the road. ;)

Old habits indeed! ;) Joerg we can touch base in a couple of weeks - I still have your mobile number in my phone.

Current weather.com forcast for August 5 in Sturbridge, MA is sunny, 80º, and 20% chance of precipitation. Looks like it's a go! :D

Anyone else in the New England region interested?

Check your emails guys. I am in, but will have some internet access issues for the near future.

NE weather bit me yesterday.

Read the email rover. We also had some severe t-storms last night and once again the road around my local subway station was badly flooded. I had to go out and rescue my wife from the subway stop. We also live in an area with lots of trees but thankfully nothing came down.

I have a number of trees on my acre + lot so it was just a matter of time. This one missed the house, wish it was in any other corner of the lot though, away from the services.
