Connecticut New England RFF Summer Meet?

No, I would like to get up to Boston next. I don't know how timing works out right now, but at some point in the not too distant future.

right away i would think.

I don't know about that.

My wife was laughing at Joerg and Ralph's stories about tricks we use to receive packages "under the radar."

She took down notes. :bang:

Boston sounds good, hopefully when there's a nice exhibit going on.

have luigi send it to me.
tell your wife that the crazy canuck wants to trade for a yankees hat or something else small.
i send you the case.

there's always a way...:)

Yeah, we shouldn't have given away any secrets, but I know she is a good sport. Besides, she shared her secret, so you aren't going to get away with anything anyway.

Judging from today's shooting experience, what would be nice would be some kind of RFF version of the "Santa Fe Workshop," geared toward rangefinder photography. We do have some pretty good pros in the forum to lead such a workshop.

Oh well, time for bed.

and i only asked because of this comment...Man, if we did not know Joe, what else would be there to talk about......

j

Joe,

just teasing, seeing if you pay attention :D
But it was funny tha you were present in spirit of your previously owned gear:cool:

i was using a combo of lenses 90mm Elmarit, and Canon 35/2 on the ZI and a VC 21mm on a Leica IIIa. Unfortunately no ZM's.......

Boston would be great for a next meeting....I guess we could even get a larger group together:bang:

Ciao

Joerg

Next meet I will be alone with my gear. Spending time with Sammy is the best thing in the world, but next meet I will be focusing on shooting.

Off to soup up the film from yesterday.

To pick up on what Joerg said, it would be really nice to get a bit more participation, there are quite a few members in the Boston metro area. Summer may be tough for many people, October/November and March/April may be better in terms of pulling in a number; people are less likely to be on long weekends/vacation and the weather and light is reasonable at those times of the year.

Yesterday I was really glad to have the AE on my cameras. Bright sunlight and lots of trees make for constantly changing exposures but all I had to do was set my aperture. :)

I still have a couple of half-exposed rolls in the cameras, but I posted some here, Joerg.

Can't wait to see shots from you guys! Hurry up. ;)

I haven't even looked at at what film I have in the bag. :( I think I used a roll of Kodak BWC so I may get that to the lab this week. The other 2 rolls will go in line behind the ~40 or so waiting for development... :( :( :(

Ray,

thanks.
I totally missed this posting......
Great pics!
I did not recall the press coverage during the civil war being so intense.
3 photogs!

Ciao

Joerg
