New film from Lomo!

Come to think of it. The results of this film resemble to a degree black and white prints that are color tinted by hand.
I'm not conversant in computer manipulation of scanned color negatives but I would not be surprised if similar results could be obtained using conventional color film files, and someone talented with the use of photoshop.

I was thinking they've gone for a cross between "a bit like hand-tinted mono" and "a bit like cross-processed colour."

This, exactly. It is unusual to go to their site and not see something like 3/4 of their different films out of stock.

Could it be because pesky customers keep buying the stuff and their factory ain't big enough to produce as much as they need so they keep running out?

I use their 35mm film and I am waiting to start using the 20 cartridges of their tiger 110 film that I have.

When I'll receive the 5 films for which I backed the project I'll soon test one of them in various light situation. After seeing the results and understanding the characteristics I'll decide for a specific project to use the other 4 films, which means 144 frames more or less.

From these I'll select the frames to print. Maybe only 10 or 15, I guess a ratio 1:10 (keeper:not keeper) should be ok.

Finished, no need to shoot more of this film. It will be interesting to see what I'll get out of it. Yes, I like this kind of challenge 🙂
