My vote would be for FSU glass on an FSU body only, but I won't be a zealot about it.

I'm in. In what ever final form this takes. I tend towards FSU camera and lens but will happily go with whatever consensus emerges.
One suggestion: make this for bragging rights but I would be happy to get a T-shirt made to award the winner emblazoned with "I won the RFF FSU contest '07!" or something similar in the winners language and in Russian--though I'll need some translation help; don't think relying on BabelFish or Google translations would be good for this.
Is there any easy way to do "blind" submissions?

shirt would be great. i would gladly find some cheap camera here on flea market and do the engraving but i think that postage will be too much for me. i must check with serbian post. but they always try to rip off people. i even paid a lot when i sent some LP to my friend in france. and LP dont have much weight. 🙁 but if they tell me some reasonable price ill find something.

There's lots of great combos out there that are greatly inhanced by FSU gear. Last year, we allowed [I think] a total of three entries per member. Why not go with categories for :

1. FSU body/FSU glass
2. FSU body/other glass
3. other body/FSU glass

We could be allowed 1 entry per category, or 3 entries in one category or whatever combination totaled 3 entries. Again, just brainstorming here to include more RFFers. Any thoughts?

i like this idea - maybe we should make 3 galleries then. because it will be too hard to trace equipment used for photos. but still we have to wait for stephen to give us his blessing. also i asked him to be a judge also, i was only judge last year and some members didnt like my choice of finalists. some said that i included slr - like photos and that quality of chosen is not high enough. so i thought to include more judges. of course if others dont want to do that, i will be again if its ok with others.

They could all be placed in the same gallery if entries were accompanied by camera/lens info and which category, #1, #2, #3, each pic was entered in. There's plenty of room for notes and info when uploading and it just takes a few extra moments to fill in. IMHO, it really helps our fellow FSU.RFFers when gear/film info is attached.

I'd say only FSU glass on FSU body, with one exception: if someone doesn't own a FSU body or FSU lens, then he can use one with different origin and clearly state it when uploading the photo. But that's just my suggestion - I'll accept it even if the majority agrees with CVBLZ4...
