My new M4-P came in the mail today- so now I'm an official rangefinder user.
I'm coming from occasional shooting with MF TLR Mamiyas, and 4x5 photography, so working in 35mm again is going to be a good- but welcomed change.

Hopefully I'll start posting to my gallery within a few days/weeks. And I'm sure there will be many questions in the future.

Thanks to Todd.Hanz. - He is a great guy to work with. I'm really going to enjoy this camera.

Allright dude! looks like a product shot 😉, put it to good use!

Todd

I've spent way too many hours directing product shots/photoshoots- maybe I've picked up a few tricks.
I can't wait to get this thing out on the streets.

I might try that black dot trick-- repaint the red dot with matte black, hit the embossed lettering with a little emery cloth and voila'- black dot M4-P.

There must be some gaffers' tape around here somewhere 😉

Or you could buy a stick-on black dot from DAG..

BTW: Welcome to the Leica club...

Colyn,
Do you know (as rediculous as it would be) -- would an M6 black dot fit in the space for the M4-P red dot? (same diameter?)

-Dan

I've not heard of it being done but if it is the same diameter it should work.
You might contact Don at DAG to see if he can tell you yes or no for sure.

Hey! Another Seattle RF user. Welcome! I'm new too to this forum. Amazing product shots. Is your web site only PDF? We need to talk if so. I might have a solution for a simple website that is flash (from a template). First Hill huh? Capt hill here. Great looking set up you have. I also have a studio near Neumo's with a cyclorama, wireless remote or continuous lighting.

Anyway, I'll stop the sales pitch.

About your question ... I have no solution. Just excited there's another younger seattle RF user.

You stop in at Glazers a lot?

Well, I should end this before the storm cuts out power!

Pete

Dan,

Congrats and welcome to RFF. You gotta test drive that bad boy at Pike Place Market. I look forward to seeing some work.

Best Regards,

Bob

ps...as soon as I can duck out of work I'm going to get some shots of storm damage.
