Hello! I just got an black Leica II conversion from 1929. What do you think about it? I just love the black finish on these old timers! So much nicer than the silverchrome finish, my opinion though.

I agree with you on the black paint being more nice but have to be hush-hush about it or my chrome Leica II won't come out and play anymore 😉

Thank you for all your kind words! I really hope I have done the right choice. I have loaded the camera with Kodak Color ISO 200.

Beautiful. Congratulations. Learn how to load it properly (plenty of advice here and through Google) and then get out and enjoy. I sold mine as I was not using it but kind of regret it. Its just nice to admire, hold and fondle even if you don't use it.
