New Info, RFF Book Project

When book one is done perhaps one of the head starts that I will like to leave is the list of alternates for book one. Ultimately it will be up to those organizing the second book to decide what to do with that, but my hope is that those folks will be given first option to particiapte in the second book.

That will not be this strong handed organizer's decision though. (he says pounding his fist on his keyboard)

I too would like to be in the next but maybe we should leave it open for those who didn't get to participate on the first round. Perhaps we could leave a limited amount of spots open and randomly draw from the first the people in the first. Oh well, lets finish the first first.

I agree with Scott. We give preference for photogs that missed out on the first book in the proposed second RF book. I am not surprised if there are more than enough new participants.

w00t! Thanks Rover!

Of course, now that means I really have to fight with my lab for quality scans in preparation... :bang:

Time to bump this back up. Everyone who owes photos and info please forward that to us as soon as possible.

Alternates, again, if you have some shots picked out think of having them scanned at 300dpi with a long side length of 7". In the event that we need to call in for reinforcements you will be ready for us.

Thanks guys.

I was a bit selfish, rover. :)

I'm so eager to get a copy and set it to my brother-in-law. He's a famous Mongolian author and poet and I like him very much; a bit like the older brother I never had. I respect him very much and I want to give a copy to him as a present.

I'll be in Mongolia from next week, and on the 9th it'll be Mongolian New Year; thé moment when Mongolian men get some sort of present (the rest of the year they normally don't get anything). I know I can't have a copy sent to Mongolia in time but nevertheless I want the project to come to fruition. :)

Heyhey. Today is 11/2 and I'm wondering what has happened with the project. I'm on a reaaaally slow connection from Mongolia. I've tried to find a thread with more information but I can't find any.

So, what's the status at this moment? Did everyone submit his photos and info? Is the lot now on its way to Lulu.com? Any information on when the book will be ready?

Sorry for being a little late with this guys. I have been a little under the weather and busy this week so it took me a little longer than it should have to get myself organized again.

Well, I have sent an email to fraley, mourges, Mike Richards and Honu-hugger asking them to join the project as participants. I am happy to announce and thankful that fraley sent his photos and info last week in the event we had to call on him. Thanks Mike.

mourges, Mike Richards and Honu-hugger please reply as soon as you can.

Welcome aboard guys.
