New KEH website: From bad to worse?

The new site is garbage. It looks and feels just like the horrible-to-navigate B&H and Adorama sites.

I was so sorry to read that this has been your experience of using the Adorama website. At Adorama Camera all aspects of our service to our customers is just as important as the range, quality and price of the products we sell. We therefore take all customer feedback very seriously and try to use it to develop and improve everything we do.

If you could please email me: Helen@adorama.com with more details of problems you've encountered, and changes you feel we could make to improve your browsing and ordering experience, I can ensure that these reach our web design team.

I can't see how the new KEH site "looks and feels just like the horrible-to-navigate B&H and Adorama site" - The Adorama site navigates like the old (classic) KEH site. The new KEH site feels very much like, well, now, 2014.

Some people need to brush up their internet skills. With the addition of the "shop by mount" option it works like a charm. But the thing is, one has to use the filters to find stuff. That is different from the old site and you better get used to it.

Feelings do not sell. Feelings buy.

Seriously, now you need skills to spend your money? That is the definition of a site retool failure.

Get used to what, an unequivocally worse shopping (if not searching) experience?

I was a loyal and frequent KEH customer. Believe me, I likely funded the site retool! So I am sorry, but you are not going to convince me that there is anything whatsoever improved with the new site. Even the freshened graphics are sterile and unappealing, but I could have lived with them if they had just draped them over the old site.

Ms. Helen and Adorama have moved up to pole position when I need to flex my "skills."

You needed to learn skills to go on the internet in the first place (remember the first time you went on-line?), so yes, you do and you already did - you now just need to get into the 21st century 😀

Really, I'm not saying that it is ideal, it just isn't as bad as some of you make it. If you can navigate a modern website, you can navigate KEH.
