New M5 pics and now wondering about a strap!

Wait, so they sold you a camera, then charge you more to get it in proper working order? Unless the camera was sold to you "as-is" with no warranty you shouldn't be putting a cent down.
 
Difficult to argue, because it does do what it is supposed to. Their point is IF it failed, they would cover it.

I dunno, I haven't as yet paid any money anyway, just sending it back for appraisal now.
 
I don't know how its hard to argue. Is it supposed to be like that yes or no. Just make sure you don't get taken for a ride. Naivety doesn't always go well in my experience, I had to learn the hard way many times.
