Man, I'd love the new 2.0 Summicron!
Having said that, does anyone out there use the first version Elmarit? Does it have that nice vintage / dreamy look of say the first version 35 Summicron? I have the new ASPH Elmarit and love it, especially for its tiny size, but always lust for speed and soft OOF areas. I'm even partial to vignetting!

The 35mm/2.8 Summaron does not have any 'vintage/dreamy look.' Therefore I'm surprised that its immediate successor, the first Summicron, does. All the images I've seen which are said to look 'dreamy' or 'vintage' look to me as if they are the product of crappy or defective optics.
