New to me M8 - Sensor issues

Hi all,

I recently picked up a used M8, and I'm trying to figure out if I have any of the sensor issues. Below is a link to an image I took at 2500 ISO and 1/8000 with the lens cap on. In lightroom I disabled all the development panes, and boosted brightness a bit to show the defects more.

Test image.

It looks to me there are two dead pixels causing the vertical lines on the left and right sides, both are about 1/4 the way in from the sides. However, there is also the "division" in the middle. What is going on there?

Apologies if this topic has been discussed already - I didn't find much when searching for this issue.

Any advice would be appreciated. I'm thinking I may just end up returning it and getting my money back.

I would return it in a heartbeat! That's bad....
 
Dang I can't even get that pic to load...

Dead pixels are dead pixels, all sensors have them to one degree or another but creating lines? That's another matter me thinks. The division thing is a known M8 issue iirc. So as the others have said, repair if warrantied return if not.
