Hello Everyone,
I have a friend just newly moved to NYC and is looking to connect and make friends. Is this club meeting in Sept? And what is the likely date and time (and place?) I am also attempting to move to NY and would love to attend the Sept mtg if possible! (Because I'll be out the first of Sept with my first show.) Any wisdom on how to meet people with similar photography interests, etc ...

If you check the August thread below, there is a meeting scheduled for August 28th (1pm) at Loreley in the LES (if either of you can make it).

It is still early for September, but if you have a date that is good for our guest we can book it now.
This November will be our 7th year of monthly Meet-Ups. We have a great group, and really it is a support group.

Thanks for the info on Aug. 28th - I won't be in town yet - but I'm definitely passing this along to my former darkroom colleague & friend. Wish I could be there! (and the biergarten looks good..) This group seems to be robust & great. I'd be excited to attend Sept - but I'm in town only the first of the month and that's probably too soon to have another meeting? (Could meet Sept. 7, 9, 10 or 11th...something like that.)

Could you post the specifics about your upcoming show so we have the time, place, address and all the particulars?
It seems like all the required information has to be mined. I suggest making it easy for people by posting it in the various threads.
