Back when I was considering which SLR to purchase as my first foray, Topcon was a serious consideration. I think I went with OM because of size and wider (at the time) distribution. But the Topcons are built like tanks, and I wouldn't mind having a kit now.

Nice pictures - I forgot that there was a Topcon that has the external automatic diaphragm, like the Alpa and Exacta.

In my ute I was an Exaktaphile and tried one of the Topcons since you could use the Exakta lenses and fire with the right hand. The Topcons were and are great cameras.
