That was a special M8 that somehow got lost. I think it was on special order from either the Pentagon or White House. It is white to reflect the heat from a nuclear blast. If you take the camera apart, it is also shielded against EMP!!! It ended up here because the Obama Administration is making budget cuts due to the economic crisis. This item will be HIGHLY collectable. I agree that it is BUTT UGLY!!!

I had a Nikon F when I was 15, and I had to scheme and trade a long time to get it.
Why not give this this Miley Cyrus credit for being interested in a "classic" camera, and being interested in photography?
She may very well be talented and a good photographer. Let her have whatever camera appeals to her.

My M3 had a white lizard-skin covering. It matched well with my white suit, white cowboy hat, and white Cadillac convertible.
Unfortunately, I had a few issues with it - the main one being that it was hard to keep clean. So at the moment, its getting repainted at Rangefinder Restorations.
I'd recommend that anybody buying this special edition M8.2 carry a small bottle of hand sanitizer with them.
