I'm new here and i have been browsing this forum for days and found all the articles so valuable as i was planning to buy a new RF. Thank you for all the information.
I'm switching from SLR system to RF. And i am looking for a nice/affordable with a built-in meter body, plus a 40 / 50mm lens that can give me nice contrast with soft bokeh.
After these days of brief researching and struggling. I've finally decided to get a R3M with Zeiss Planar 50mm F2 lens. Both 'cron 50mm f2 and planar looks tempting, but the price already decided which one i should get
I can’t wait to have my 1st roll of test.

1st lesson for me is.
i need to get familiar with the focus which i feel not as "clear" as the SLRs (FM / OM) that i used before. and i want to practice my "instant" street shooting skill.
just a few hours of testing and I'm already in love with this camera!

Nice kit! I switched from SLR to RF over three years ago and it took a while to adjust, but you will get there. Then an RF will be "clearer" than an SLR! Welcome to the forum!

Be sure to log on to cameraquest.com and read some of the articles. There is a tremendous amount of information on rangefinder photography on this site. I always find something new when I log on.
