I went and looked at it again today... I just can't bring myself to buy it. It is just too consumer oriented for me. Here's to hoping my X1 gets that long rumored vaporware, I mean firmware update that will speed up its AF to acceptable levels.

Sure am glad I trusted my gut, and waited a few weeks, or I would be out close to $250.

Sony's website has the NEX 3 down below $500 (might be pink!) and Costco has them with both kit lenses for $549, and it's still 2010!

The NEX cameras are part of the Sony SURE pricing program. All resellers have them at the same price. If any authorized dealer sells below SURE they are at risk of losing their Sony authorization. In the case of Sony, street = MSRP = SURE.
