I just won the auction for a Nikon 10.5cm f2.5 RF lens. It does not come with a rear cap. Will the ones on HeavyStar for the 8.5cm and the 13.5cm also fit the 10.5cm lens? I can't wait to ge the lens. Thanks.

Two types of rear cap.
Which version of the lens - Nikon rangefinder or Leica screw version?.
It's the Nikon Rangefinder version.
The cap for the 8.5cm F2 Nikkor is the same as the 10.5cm F2.5. The caps for the wide-angle lenses also fit, but are deeper. The 10.5cm lens uses 52mm filters, and the Hood for the F-Mount version works perfectly.

Thanks. I have an extra wide angle rear cap here at home. I'm glad I bought two of them now. How flare resistant is the lens? Will I need the hood right off the bat? I remember when I first got a Rollei 3.5 MX-Synch with no hood. That thing flared like no ones business.

I would use a hood. I always do with all of my 105 Nikkors, always have. Sunlight illuminating the front element is the worst issue with flare, as opposed to reflections.
