Beautiful camera Raid. you really need to do home processing of B&W film. C-41 process film just isn't good enough for that work of art.😉
What a beauty!!
Actually this isn't a matter of better/worse. The S3 2000 and original S3 1958 finders are different. The S3 2000 finder etched framelines rather look like the ones of the recent Cosina-Voigtländer external viewfinders (white and rather large lines), while the ones of the S3 1958 resemble the ones of the Leitz SBOOI finder of that era (very thin and golden lines).
The main advantage of the S3 2000 finder resides in the RF patch when compared with a faded S3 1958 one. And many of them have now faded (desilvering), so that there is very little contrast in the RF patch. But re. those on which the RF patch hasn't faded from desilvering, they still hold the comparison with the S3 2000 pretty well, and I personally much prefer the look of the 1958 framelines.
No big deal anyway.
Thanks, Kent. I am smiling here.
I can just imagine, I would be too. Handsome camera, Raid.
I hope you do one day soon return to developing B&W at home.
Yes please. All what I got in your previous posts are empty posts. Strange.I host them at smugmug. Would a link help you?

Beautiful camera Raid. Looking forward to seeing some pics from it.

Now I can see them all, either in this thread or at smugmug. Actually I use Firefox with AdblockPlus embedded in it, and for some reason ABP had blocked ads including smugmug images at some time in the past, hence the empty posts of yours. Now solved, thanks !Maybe your computer has a high level of security setting that prevents images from smugmug to show up.
