Nikon SLR CLA

I need to have my F3HP and 180/2.8 lens worked on for a couple small issues (exposure compensation dial on the camera and noisy focusing ring on the lens) but I don't want to send them to the Nikon repair centers as my last experience with them was less than stellar.

Does anyone know of any good Nikon shops that can CLA cameras and lenses? I'm in Austin, TX but I don't mind shipping anywhere in the US to an excellent repairman.

Judith Bienevieu in the Wash DC area used to do great work on Nikons for most of the big shops around here. Don't know if she is still active, or if she has made too much money on ebay

Try Authorized Photo Service in Morton Grove, IL. I've sent them my Nikon stuff (F100, SB-28, AF 80-200 f2.8 lens) and they always deliver. And they come up with estimates the day they receive your stuff.
