Impossibly cute, but I am always wondering where’s the mom? Or is this a pet, (seems unlikely). That one’s pretty young.

Nick on this second one ^^^ I like that you included a figure as it helps for scale in this jagged pile of rock... must be hard/slippery to move about. Nice light too!

Tremendous - the tones are are just beautiful. Is this at f1? This makes me want to put my Nocti on my M10M and add a close-up lens.

Hi Marty,
Just saw this, sorry. It is "probably" at f/1, though not sure, might possibly have been f/1.2. The Noctilux makes a nice close up lens.

No problem, thanks. I need to get a set of 58mm close-up lenses.

The close up M to Z adapter has been an unexpected pleasure, as opposed to just a straight adapter, as it opens up the usability of M lenses, but the Noctilux is the one that seems to benefit the most from that capability.
Though that’s probably just a personal preference of mine.

Whatever
I've been shooting a bunch with the Z7 but it's all been commercial work (stills and video). This is the first time in a long time that I've used the camera for myself.
With the Nikon 200-500/5.6 - pretty much full-frame, ISO 800.

Interesting that the bird didn't notice that as it left its nest to fetch more food, I crept closer and closer. I ended up being about 10-15ft. away when I got this shot.
