I have a Noctilux which I currently try to use on my Minolta CLE but it blocks most of teh rangefinder patch and the focus is very accidental, that is, only by accident do I get it right.
Is the R3 rangefinder base length OK for the Noctilux?
The only other lenses I have are the Minolta M-Rokkor 28, 40 and 90.

Regards,
Robert

Hrm out of general curiousity how would a Noctilux on my Canon P be.

41mm Base length, 1.0x lifesize magnification

If you find an M to LTM adapter, let ALL of us know!

my 90mm is not f2.8 but f4, tiny lens.
I know it sounds silly but after buying the Noctilux I have only a little extra cash left for an appropriate body, the CLE is no good for it.

Hrm that would be something eh... I guess they never made that lens in the LTM mount. (I assumed there mighta been an LTM version, kinda like LTM summicron, M summicron.)

that's great to hear, just bought a R3M and am looking forward to having an easier time focusing, trying to focus with half a patch on the CLE short base is really not to be advised.
