I swear I think my Nokton 40mm is sharper closer to F/2 or F/4 than F/8 or higher. Anyone one else think this?

That's normal. Probably peaks at f5.6 or so due to diffraction.

Last time i checked the 40mm Nokton S.C. was available in M mount, and made by Cosina.
Uh back ally...he posted the question in the Voigtlander forum about a Voigtlander lens. Where the heck is he supposed to post the question?

Sorry for posting in the wrong place. I really only noticed that the Nokton was sharper more open when I put it on my EP-1.

Yes mine is M mount and yes he moved it, my mistake. But I did think it was more a lens discussion than a camera one.

I just know that I was shocked by just how sharp my 40mm nokton was when I got it. It has spent most of it's time on my M7. And on the M8, while it doesn't have the exact frame lines, it makes a perfect 50mm substitute.

I will read them. I filed my lens and it now brings up the 35mm frame lines and it is very accurate.
