Same here. This thread (and of course the pics by "Bokeh Queen" Helen) made me get the 50/1.5, but I've been using Elmar-M way more just because of the size, and 50/1.5 is being night time "emergency" backup. I really need to take the beast out often. Probably the IIIf I'm getting now is up to the task. ;)

I also use a Nokton 35/1.2, so the 50/1.5 is, in comparison, a mere wisp of a thing.

Actually, I'm a bit of a weather wimp. I'm waiting for the snow, the "unseasonably cold" temperatures, and the freezing rain to go away. Tomorrow, we're promised steady winds at 30-40 mph, and gusts above 50 mph. Joy. I gotta move farther south.

Still, happy not to be in D.C. Or New York.
 
I'm VERY happy with my 1.5 that I bought here on the classifieds. Here is a first result. Note the grain is from the Ilford Delta 3200 but I shot it at 800:
