...since i started using the 27.

my bowery bag holds the fuji xe1 with 27 attached along with the 18 and 60 mm lenses...a perfect kit for me.

i thought i'd miss the 35, leaving it at home as i have been doing but the 27 has become second nature (i love that 40mm fov).
maybe in winter when it gets dark by 4 p.m. most days.

the unemployed me thinks i should sell it.
the neurotic financially irresponsible me says to keep it and keep it near.

and while i'm at it, i just have to say that the xe1/27 combo is one of the best kits i have ever used...my cle/40 kit was wonderful and will always remain so in my heart but this new kit is just as wonderful!!
i love how it makes images, how it handles, how it feels in my hands, on my lance strap hanging low on my side!

ok, time for my nap...

I will not sell my 35mm. It's too good and useful. Plus, I don't think Fuji is particularly interested in getting the 27mm to me anytime soon... so I have to enjoy what I have.

I agree, I used a CL for a while.....it handles the same, in weight and dimension, with complete & simple manual controls...I feel the same only with Nikon 35 Ti....

i'm keeping mine as well.
i'm thinking of setting up 2 kits...the xe1 with 18/27 and the xp1 with 35/60...

I'm pretty sure I would run the 60 on the xe considering the better evf for fine focus. Especially now with the peaking and improved Manual focus potential. :p

actually, i'm thinking of trading the xp1 in on another xe1...

It makes sense in a way. Many of us don't use the OVF. I'm still of the mind that I like to have it. I use it about 10% of the time.
Primarily I like handling of the larger body of the Xpro-1.

and for me, i am liking the smaller size of the xe1 better...and i have to admit that the diopter adjustment has a large impact also...the xp1 is not as clear to my old eyes as the xe1 adjusted.

Ahhh... YES!

Got my email from Amazon that the little bugger will be in my hot hands on aug 12...only one more weekend without it.

The little 27 was the last thing on the current roadmap I really wanted.. Now that I have had it for a week, I can say it is a done deal... Between the lenses I already have and plus legacy lenses via m adapter and speedbooster, I am set :D

i think b&h is shipping way faster than that!!

Popflash was even faster. 2.5 days after I put in the order, I had the beauty in hands here in calif. I was really really really lucky, was not even a first day pre-order, just happen to check their website out the day they got their order in from Japan.

Actually for me, I really did not care if it was a pancake or not, I wanted a 40fov period. F1.4, 2, 2.8 just give me a 40fov. Tooo many years of shooting w/ a 40f2 mounted on a CL.

The 27mm is not a hot lens... it can be found in stock in various places right now. I guess it's not fast enough for bokeh freaks and not a sexy FOV. To me, it's another great lens from Fuji.
