Let's make the November Meet-Up Sunday November 3rd so Ellen and her daughter can make the event. Ellen is coming in from the west coast. The location will be Puck Fair.

So, our meetings are only one week apart this month? Is Ellen really coming?

John,

I hope and believe so. I also believe "Maggie" will be away at a conference, and I'll also be dog sitting "Baby-Dog" that weekend. I might have to leave a little early. Baby-Dog is like me in many ways: he has a small bladder. LOL.

Thanksgiving is a busy time as the holidays begin.

Bring the dog! We'll feed it Guinness.

Cristian,

What a friendly meet-up. I forgot once before Tung brought his dog Chowder to a meet-up. We had a baby and kid also at meet-ups.

Chase was a rescued dog. He use to be rather thuggy and go ghetto tough guy, but he's gotten a lot better. Its been a few years since he bit me or Maggie. Problem is that Chase thinks he's Brad Pitt, and he definately knows that he is good looking. It seems that all the girls seem to love the bad boys, especially because "Chase" is a skinny dog with a chubby butt. Anyways women find him mucho cute.

Chase has a beagle face and ears but has the lean muscular build of a Miniture Pinicher.

Uhmmmm, Guinness...

John,

Chase has a delicate stomach, but he is a bit of a garbage hound. I've been bitten several times retrieving chicken bones from his mouth. Also we once paid about $1K to take him to an animal hospital because he ate some garbage that would not pass.

X-rays revealed that he had eaten some wire. Luckily he eventually threw up and didn't need surgery. Maggie kinda babied him when he was sick. Ever since then he acted like "Baby-Dog." When his owners returned from Europe the were surprised because they had a new dog.

Cal, I can make the November date, look forward to seeing you all.

I can't make 26 October after all, I will be driving all the way to York, PA that day to pick up our new puppy!

Randy,

Congrats on your new member of the family. What breed did you decide on?

BOB,

GEAR ALERT: I have a fresh F3HP that I rigged with a black 45/2.8P AIS. This is a flat pancake lens that is also Nikon's most contrasty lens because it has so few elements (Tessar design). I removed the vulcanite and used it as a template for some black soft goat leather I found being sold as a sample in the fashion district. The VF'er I left naked. What a good looking compact SLR. It looks evil. LOL.

Sounds nice Cal. How about the trade... is it still in the works?

John,

Seems like the possible trade cooled off. I'm good with that.

Also know that because I'm bored at work I have major GAS. It seems that Jean-Marc sniped a 21 SEM that I wanted to buy. He got a great price.:bang: Somehow I feel like I got mugged. LOL.

I'm also going to get my Wetzlar M6 hot rodded further. It already was overhauled by Sherry years ago and got a MP upgrade performed to the VF'er. Now I'm spoiled by the uncluttered look of the M4's 50mm framelines. I'm going to get the framelines reconfigured to 35/50/90 for that uncluttered look like a M2. Basically this is my version of an a la carte M6 or a cheap man's MP. Because I beat the snot out of this camera it is mucho quiet and smooth. Perhaps this is why I seldom used a 50 on a M-body.

Another project is recover my now scantily clad chrome M4. I still have more of that Italian goat leather that is muy soft.

Pardon my Spangish. LOL.
