Novoflex medium format slide copier

Has anyone tried the Novoflex CASTEL-COP-DIGI which seems to be suitable for copying negs up to 6x7 on a Novoflex bellows?

Specifically, I still shoot my Rolleiflex, and was wondering whether the slide holder could be used with a 6x6 negative?

Alternatively, is there some easy-click slide casing that could be used and reused with negs?

I wonder if it's worth the money. It just doesn't look that sophisticated to me. It doesn't come with bellows, and neither with a light source or any kind of diffuser.

If you have a bit of "craftsman" skills, you can probably make something yourself for a lot less money. I just came across this thread, which may be of interest to you:

The setup described there is for 35mm, but it looks like it could easily be modified for medium format.

Maybe you can find a medium format film holder replacement part for a scanner, and use that to mount the slides.

Nevertheless, I think you would be better off with a dedicated film scanner, or something like the Epson V700. I realize that film scanners have become incredibly expensive (like the Nikon Coolscan), so if I had to do it all over again and didn't want to spend too much money, I think I would go for an Epson V700. I have seen some quite nice results from that scanner, it's adaptable to pretty much any format as well, and no hustle setting up a digital-camera-scanner.

The V700 goes for about $350 on eBay (used).
