Dear Zane,Roger, do you have in insight in to whether or not film sales have hit bottom and are on the way back up? Around here I get the impression they have, but then this area is kind of crazy. Note, I'm not saying mainstream, I realize mainstream photography has gone digital, and I'm sure it's there to stay.

No real insights, because (like everyone else) I'm influenced by what I want to believe. According to Kodak at photokina consumer colour is still declining fast but 'professional' colour is stabilizing or even recovering. Ilford is doing better than they expected (and they'd not have bought the company unless they saw a future in it) and Foma's doing fine too, but of course EFKE is gone. I suspect (I don't know) that overall, B+W is pretty stable or growing slowly.
