I was watching the Obi-Wan Kenobi series on TV and noticed he is using a modified classic accessory rangefinder as a communications device. Any thoughts?
This has me thinking of the countless Graflex flash units that were destroyed for use as DIY lightsaber props. They became incredibly expensive due to this. This little communication device is probably not cool enough to drive prices of vintage rangefinder units, but filmmakers seem to like making props from old camera equipment. I hope they never start using Leica Ms as walkie-talkies.
