This just appeared on the Imacon Scanner forum. -- NOTE the NYC location:
Hi all,
I'm reaching out to this group to see if anyone is interested in buying my Imacon Precision II.
Looking to get $1,800 for the setup. Please contact me offline (jhaner@gmail.com) if you're interested.
Included with this purchase is the Imacon Flextight Precision II that has had the firmware upgraded to give it the same resolution as the Precision III, the Ratoc FR1SX adapter, a granite digital SCSI powered terminator, a bunch of negative holders for everything from 35mm to 6x6, 645, 6x7, 4x5, original power supply, firewire 400 to 800 cable, the Imacon Flexcolor and Ratoc driver software.
Here's a good overview on how to run it on a Mac:
http://www.godmanblog.com/2011/01/imacon-piii-mac-os-10-6-snow-leopard-and-ratoc-fr1sx/ I think it's easier to run on Windows, but you'd have to research that.
Craigslist post is here if you're near New York, or we can talk shipping:

Thank you for considering!
