Taken with my Leica IIIC with 5cm f/2 Summitar a few years ago near Glen Rose, Texas..

I used to take my kids out there in the summer to wade in the dinasaur tracks. Great way to cool off when Arlington was sizzling. That Sumitar is a little gem!

The Paluxy River has a few good spots for swimming. The last time I was there though the water level was down to barely a flow..

Still have it and it is still producing some fine images..

Interesting you should say that. I remember at one point as I was contemplating whether to buy a Barnack or a M camera,virtually everyone pitched the M2, but as an aside David Hughes said "what you can get out of a 30's Leica and a Summitar will blow your mind." Never bought the Summitar because I really like the collapsible Elmar 3.5, but I have often wondered what I was missing.

I tend to shoot 32% reflectance as opposed to 18% which is where most meters are calibrated especially in bright conditions..
