Olympus SP auto exposure question

Hi, I just picked up an Olympus 35UC (same as an SPn) and am wondering about auto exposure. If you set both the aperture and speed dial to "A" you get auto exposure. If you set the aperture and speed manually, of course you get manual settings.

What if you leave the Aperture on "A" and set the speed separately? Do you get speed priority auto exposure? (I suspect not, because the manual does not mention it.)
