Hey guys, I'm having a weird light leak and I was wondering what the source of it is. Also, I'm curious how I could fix it and/or have someone repair it for me?
I noticed that there is a little light leak on the sprockets as well.

I have owned a stylus with a similar leak and I know a friend who has the exact same issue. This seems to be all to common with these cameras. There are a few ways to possibly fix it in that link above, but honestly I wouldn't put any money on being able to fix the leak. This is the reason why I have held off on buying a new one and am settling for the stylus zoom I found at a flea market for $1.

I have notice that many mju-II are having light leaks in the past 1-2 years. I had two cameras with the same issue and I'm not planning to buy a third one.
I think the rubber around the back door that seals the camera is getting weak after 20 years and its causing light leaks.
You could fix it by adding black tape all around the back door, specially under the viewfinder. This should prevent the leaks.

Oh I forgot to add what most people think is the main problem in my previous post. It's the lens seals on the front of the camera that are going bad. If it was coming from the back door the light leaks would spread out over the sprocket holes, generally they tend to stay in the frame.

Add to this that light from the back side of the camera usually shows as orange marks (on color film) since the light has to pass through the film base before it strikes the emulsion.Oh I forgot to add what most people think is the main problem in my previous post.
