Estate Sales are a good source for deals in the US. Often I visit homes with basements full of camera gear, and the person in charge of selling it often has no clue. I recently got an a brand new Olympus MJU II for $20.- 
The other day I came to a home where the basement was full of vintage Moog synthesizers ... but I had no cash with me and when I returned the next day, they were all gone.
