Can anybody suggest any online shops with a wide selection of films (such as MX2) which ship 35 mm film worldwide?

B&H has been my regular supplier for the last years. They don't stock everything, but I've yet to be let down. Other than that, Freestyle Photo is decent.

The problem I find with Bh Photo is that the shipping is very expensive.

Well, I usually order 200 rolls or more once I get started, and that usually costs approx. 30 cent/shipping per roll. So even if the shipping is $100 or so, I come up way ahead when compared to purchasing locally. The last roll of film I bought locally was $9 for a roll of Ilford XP2...

Where are you located, and how many rolls are you looking for? And - what kind of film?

I agree with you: if you get 200 rolls at the time it is worth the shipping cost. But to do that you need to spend, let's say on average, $850 upfront. Plus, storing properly 200 rolls in the tropics is not that easy, unless you shoot 2 rolls per day on average and finished them all off in 3 months (which is not my case, unfortunately). For a non professional user (or somebody who simply alternates digital and film) it becomes trickier.
So shipping inevitably has an impact.
I am based in the Philippines (almost no film available locally). I am looking at buying lets say 40 rolls at the time, 1/4 bw, 1/4 slides, 1/2 color prints, on average.

I understand that. I guess you would be looking for a seller in Asia then. There is always www.unicircuits.com/shop (Megaperls), but I'm not sure if they offer any cheaper shipping though. eBay could be a long shot, Once every while I find someone with "cheap" shipping, but most of the time it's actually more expensive than B&H, and I end up ordering from 2-3 different sellers - and that negates any savings.

Gilo25 asked about 'wide selection' of film with international shipping so why are we discussing money?
If you'd taken the time to read the thread you would have noticed he wrote that he found B&H's shipping too expensive. In my experience, shipping costs what it costs, and at least they stock the films that most people want or need.
