would like to sell them locally.

Side Note: Although he asked to keep his identity private, I can tell you he has lectured at the Leica Historical Society and has 3 books available (from a well known publisher) that were created with the cameras he wants to sell.

What is "locally"? One person I can think of who fits your description is Brian Bower, if that's who it is, does this mean the items would only be available in England? (And is he raising cash for the upcoming Digital M and should this be an "insider" sell signal for the rest of us? )

Well since I live in the Southwest of the United States, I can honestly tell you it is not Brian Bower.

From my very bad memory, I was told there would be a IIIf body and a M4P as well as a 15mm lens with viewfinder. I don't remember the rest but it is a lot of stuff, all Leica related. Oh yeah, there is also a 85mm 2.8 lens (I think).

I don't know guys, this is starting to sound fishy. I think it's best we take precautions. In the interest of buyer safety and forum unity, joe and I will bite the bullet, make the sacrifice and volunteer to personally divide/inspect/test drive all gear before it gets thrown to the wolves..... uhh.... that is.... I mean... before it is offered as fine additions to your wonderful collections.
