Wow, I want to go to yard sales in your area!!!! Unbelievable.
I once had an all chrome Ultron 50/F2, which was on an early Prominent so I assumed the chrome ring was exchanged for black a bit later in production(maybe because of reflection), I'm not sure. Certainly have never seen this LTM lens in all chrome and maybe never will again.

Just goes to prove there are still those gems out there waiting to be discovered that have been tucked away in the sock drawer for 60 years.

Although I am unaware of the actual circumstances of the yardsale (and the position of the seller) I cannot help but wonder if (given the obvious actual value of the lens) perhaps you considered sharing your good fortune with the (clearly) unaware seller.

To be honest I was unaware myself because I only got the camera out of the case at home with the lens mounted on. It was in a box with a few other old pocket camera's and gear. The lens that original came with the camera (Summaron 3,5cm) was in the Voigtlander case. He offered me the box for a very good price. I don't know the seller because it was on a yearly market, so I wouldn't be able to find and thank him.
