What is everyone's favorite over the counter 35mm film? NOT what you get at the local camera shop, etc. I'm talking Target, Walmart, drug store etc?

Me, Kodak HD400.

I was desperate on a trip -- tried it and really like it. Let's hope Kodak keeps it available for more than a few months...

The various generic Fuji films, mainly the Xtra 400 and the Super-HQ 200.

I've come to like the results I got on the first couple rolls of the Walgreens/Agfa 200, so I picked up a total of 48 rolls of it while it was on sale for $.70-some per roll.

my exact favorites. i have come to REALLY like the walgreens/agfa 200, and not because of the great price (i bought 64 rolls). those subdued natural accurate colors are just doing it for me.

Fuji Supermarket, er, Xtra 400, Reala 100, & Walgreens/Agfa 200 as well. Just nice films at decent prices.

Yes, while it lasts. Agfa is out of business and a Walgreens manager recently told me that yes, when the current stock is sold out, there will be no more.

The 200 appears to be really great film. It's a little more grainy than the Fuji 200, and not as saturated, but still good.

I'm still undecided on the 400. It seems fine in normal light, but for high-contrast low-light scenes it just doesn't seem right. Definitely not as good as Fuji for low-light "available darkness" stuff.

I had real bad luck with their 800 last spring. Much more grainy and contrasty than the Fuji Xtra 800 film.

Wasn't the poloaroid color film made by Agfa?

They always told me that the Polaroid brand film sold at Wally World was indeed Agfa, and last week, when I was confused over which negatives were what film, I did look at several sets of negatives, and yes, the Polaroid and Walgreens/Agfa both have the same triangle marks on the negatives.

I either get kodak C41 B&W film from B&H and color and b&W ARISTA from from FREESTYLE. I get FUJI color at FOTOHALL the place that develops my film

I don't usually go into places that sell film unless it is a camera store [my wife goes to walmart or drug stores] too much trouble getting the wheeliechair out of the car
