My wife and I are coming up to Paris from Bayonne on Thursday for a week. We'll be staying in Auteuil (16th). Any special things happening that we shouldn't miss? I'll grab a Pariscope, but if anyone has a heads-up for us I'd appreciate it! A bientot!

you can make some pictures of the demonstrations 😀

there is the hippodromme d auteuil that should be opened

and paris , well, you have many things to see (apart from the museum and the touristic downtown)

i can recommend a couple of excellent restaurants that i went to in the 11th 3 weeks ago
Bistro Paul Bert and au temp de temp
both on Rue paul bert
Closest metro is Faidherbe Chaligny
and if you want some instant street photography options spend and afternoon at the Stravinsky Fountain by the Pompidou (my favourite spot in paris BTW)

Thanks to all of you for the info. My favorite city, too! We're flying home to the Bay Area on the 3rd, Roger. I'll have to miss the Salon this time. I do hope to shoot some pix of the demonstrators. I think I got some good ones here in Bayonne. I like the Stravinsky fountain, too! I'll listen to The Firebird when I get there. Thanks for the restaurant tips. Anyone who hasn't seen the Pays Basque, we certainly recommend it! We've been here four weeks and feel we've only hit the high points! We've been from Bilbao to Bordeaux and St. jean de Luz to St. Jean Pied de Port. Just amazing country!
