Pentax 67 Gas!

I did say that -- and I was very amazed when I hung the negs to dry. I thought for sure all the photos I took of my daughter would be VERY blurry -- that wasn't the case at all. Very usable negs -- and pretty sharp - considering. I love the Pentax - fantastic camera.

Sikario, wonderful photos!

If anyone in the US is looking for a WLF check here:
http://shop.ebay.com/al-di-la/m.html?_nkw=&_armrs=1&_from=&_ipg=&_trksid=p3686

I would have picked one up but he does not ship to anywhere other than the US.

I have no connection to the seller, just wanted to pass this on as his prices are quite a bit cheaper than others.

Someone on another board I frequent bought from him and had a good experience. YMMV

I bought one of his newer WLF's in EX condition, priced slightly higher than the one he has listed on there right now. It was literally NEW - I could not find a single fault with it. I have been really enjoying it for the past few months, I would totally recommend that seller.

Tuesday 18 January: Collected by USPS after lunch.
Thursday 20 January: Delivered to Eric around 12:30pm.
Thursday 20 January: Eric sends email estimate for repairs at 5:30pm. He is FAST!
Friday 21 January: Payment to Eric at 7:00am.

February 3: It's back. Looks good. Sounds good. The mirror is working again. I can't say enough good things about Eric. If your Pentax needs work, Eric is The Man!

I can focus The Beast without my glasses. WOW! Look out. I'm dangerous now.
As long as I could find twigs in the snow. Focusing on snow ain't happening, glasses or no.

I have to share some to :) I love my P67 with 90mm/2,8
This is taken on outdated Ektachrome iso 100.

Pentax 67

Pentax 67

I have owned and shot with the 67 for about 20 years. Had 3 bodies at one time, 2-6x7 and a 67ll, with 5 lenses. I just got tired of carrying 40 lbs. of camera gear when I went out on a shoot. I kept the 67ll and my 45mm and 135 macro. Great stuff that never caused me any problems. I don't know how that happened. Went to Pentax after Blad because I liked the way the camera felt in my hands and I knew that the glass was good.

45mm again -

105mm -

And I finally got my hands on a 55mm f/4 SMC :D it's fantastic, seems like it's worth the premium over the previous 55 models. Only shot a few images with it so far, but I like it -

I'm really happy with this 3-lens kit, I could even see myself selling the 45mm if I find the 55mm wide enough. I really like both of them though...

@Instant congrats on the 75 2.8 it is definitely on my wishlist!

Thanks Scooter!
There is a lot of Pentax 67 glass to fall in love with. My feelings is strong for the 75, 105 and the 165/2.8. I have six lenses for the Pentax at the moment but find myself mostly using the 75 and 105. The 165 with an extension ring is also a joy but less used.

I will go to Geneva, Rome and Paris in May and June and instead of my M2/Summicron 35IV and Tele-Elmarit I plan to go with the big one and 75 + 105. It is certainly not a travelers camera kit but the results are so much better. Clumsy, noisy and attention making artifact that makes me doubt my judgments. I would rather travel light with the German outfit but the quality deliverances from the Sumo japan wins.:D
